Katrice,

Your Godmother and I are so very proud of you. This book speaks to life and about life. Not the silver spoon life, but the real life which many of us live. We all can learn about struggles, trials, and triumphs. And, the greatest message that you have written stems from having our God be the soucre of our help and strength. We don’t want to spoil anything for your readers, but I must say that once I started reading this book, I thought that too much was going on, and then I realized, in life we can’t control what happens, when tribulation stops by, when storm clouds rise, or when the unexpected occurs, but the one constant is that; God will never leave us nor forsake us. We are so proud that you!!!

Love,

As an avid reader, I enjoy stepping into the pages of a good novel and immersing myself in the daily joys and struggles of the characters. It's refreshing to see how Ms. Walker manages to accurately depict common, everyday struggles in the secular world as well as spiritual issues. One is able to empathize with the main character, Liz, as she attempts to reconcile the past sins of her flesh with her religious beliefs.

As her first literary endeavor, I salute Ms. Walker for effortlessly breathing life into very distinct and multi-faceted characters and for addressing timeless spiritual concerns. She is a truly an amazing storyteller.

We love Him, because HE first loved us. I John 4:19......
As I look all around me, this Sunday, I notice men being given gifts, recognition and praise. And if you are reading this and have procreated your own or are raising another, I pray that the wisdom of the Holy Spirit continue to guide that which you do. While some of us have fathers, brothers, husbands, or friends who are no longer with us to celebrate this day, perhaps it’s a good thing for therein we are placed in a position to celebrate the Father of all father’s, God on this day. too read the conclusion please click on http://workplacedevotion.com/wordofencouragement.html
